What are the sizes of each piece? Will each Mug or plate be exactly the same?

Each piece has the approximate sizes in the description. So please visit each item for description sizes. Due to each item being handmade, it is impossible for all items to be exactly the same. This is what makes Iris + Indi ceramics unique. However, most batches are made with the attempt, by weighing each ball of clay out before forming a batch of mugs, plates, or vases.

How are the pieces made?

All my pieces are made by hand with the highest quality of clay. Then they are air dried, sponged, bisque fired, and glazed in a kiln.

Are pieces food safe, microwave and dishwasher safe?

All of my ceramics are food and microwave safe. I personally create samples of each drop and test them myself in the microwave and dishwasher to ensure that I am creating high quality pieces, and I have never had a problem otherwise. All ceramics are dishwasher safe, but because not all dishwashers are the same, to expand the lives of your ceramics, I recommend hand washing.



Do I Ship Internationally? 
Why yes I do :) Iris + Indi goes all around the world!
PLEASE NOTE:  Due to customs, International orders may take a few weeks to a month to arrive. 
How can you make sure your package is safe?
 I always spend a lot of time packing each item. All my items are wrapped in lots of bubble wrap, tissue paper, and go in boxes appropriately sized to the item. So it's as safe as possible!
Do You Accept Refunds?
All ceramics are final sale. Refunds or exchanges are only valid if an item arrives broken. You must notify me of broken items the day you receive your order for this to be valid. Please email with photos of the broken item.  

Shipping:  All orders will ship with a tracking number which is emailed to you once your label is created. If you did not receive a tracking email please check your email address is correct on the order. Feel free to email me at if more assistance is needed.

I typically ship through USPS, UPS, and DHL for international orders. Orders can differ for the best shipping methods if needed.

PLEASE NOTE: that incorrect shipping addresses may result in your parcel being returned or abandoned. Any return shipping fees or loss of item is to be covered by the customer if this occurs. 

Iris + Indi is not responsible for any lost or damaged items. Please contact your local USPS or UPS for help on recovery of packages reported delivered via your tracking email. 

I do my best to get orders out as quickly as I can, but please note that delays are possible since I am a one woman shop. I typically ship out orders in batches 1-3 times a week. 

If you have multiple orders during our shipping period I will ship them together and refund any overages.
